The art photographer Thomas Struth considers ‘the challenge of how to condense an epic narrative into a still image’. In a new series which he contributes to 'This Place', a collaborative photographic project set in Israel and Palestine, Struth explores the history, uses and symbolism of landscapes, buildings and urban sites. Struth is also exhibiting a series of images taken within advanced scientific laboratories.
