Bruce Nauman at Tate Modern

For over fifty years Bruce Nauman has been making sculptures, performances and films, often arising out of physical actions or linguistic expression. These artworks address violence, conflict, power and emotion. Often confronting and disturbing, his art courageously examines the relationship between instinct and repression, order and release. Nauman's interests and ideas continue to influence much of contemporary art today.
